RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayers for the late mother of Army Chief Gen Syed Asim Munir were solemnly held at the Racecourse Ground in Rawalpindi, with a large gathering of political and military dignitaries in attendance.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Cabinet members, former military chiefs, and other distinguished figures. Gen Asim Munir himself led the heartfelt funeral prayers for his mother.
