Web Desk (August 31, 2018): Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Gold’, has became the first Bollywood film ever to release in Saudi Arabia, which will be screened today.
Saudi Arabia’s first cinema opened on April 18 in Riyadh. In which, first movie to screen was Hollywood blockbuster ‘Black Panther’.
Screening of Bollywood films is starting today in the kingdom, and first Bollywood movie to release in KSA is Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy starrer ‘Gold’.
Akshay recently took to Twitter to express his joy and share the news with fans, and said that Happy to share, the story of India’s first Gold medal victory, Gold is the first ever Bollywood movie to release in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia, in cinemas from today.

Story of film ‘Gold’ revolves around India’s iconic gold-medal win at the London Olympics, in 1948. Gold released Worldwide two weeks back, on August 15, on the occasion of India’s independence day.
