LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that government don’t not want probe into the Panama Leaks scandal.
The JI chief telephoned Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah and Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan and felicitated them on Eid.
Haq also discuss the overall situation of the country including the Panama Leaks issue with Shah.
He said that the government was not ready to get rid of corruption and commission culture. “Had the government been eager to eradicate corruption, then the Juridical Commission for probe into Panama Leaks would have been constituted much earlier, ” he remarked.
The JI chief also telephoned Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan and extended Eid greeting to him. He hailed Dr Qadeer’s national services. He remarked that Dr Qadeer was an asset of the nation who made Pakistan’s defense impregnable.
