LAHORE: Former chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Zaka Ashraf has said that decision to remove Shaheen Afridi from the captaincy was made hastily by PCB.
Speaking to the media, Ex chairman Zaka Ashraf has said that Shaheen Shah Afridi deserved a full opportunity as captain and Shahid Afridi did not advise him to make Rizwan the Captain.
Zaka Ashraf said that he wishes the best for world-class player Babar Azam, whether coaches are national or international, they should only be for the betterment of the team.
He said that talks of changes in the Punjab governorship are circulating in the media, but no official notification has been received yet. Whatever decision is made by the party (Pakistan People’s Party) regarding the Punjab Governorship, they will accept it.
