WEB DESK: Pakistani actress Hira Soomro has criticised what she sees as age-shaming by some senior female colleagues, saying they appear to treat her as older because she has children.
In an Instagram Story, Soomro shared a wedding photograph with her husband and said she was younger than many actresses she had worked with. She added that becoming a mother did not change her age, noting that she married young.
The actress said her concern was directed at female colleagues, not male actors, and urged those making assumptions to stop focusing on her age.
Soomro has appeared in dramas including *Tere Bin* and *Jaan-e-Jahan*. She is a mother of two.
