Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Judge Baber Sattar has remarked that journalist has basic right of coverage of any event.
Justice Baber Sattar heard the case a case of stopping the journalist from a match coverage in which he gave his remarks.
Justice Baber Sattar added that doing reporting and reviewing are also journalists basic right under the constitution.
Senior counsel Abdul Wahid Qureshi represented the sports journalists.
The court has issued a notice to PCB and all other parties in the case.
The court also has sought response from the PCB over not issuing accreditation cards to the sports journalists.
The IHC has summoned secretary cricket board in personal capacity tomorrow, Thursday.
The court hearing prorogued till tomorrow, Thursday.
