ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday will hear a case pertaining to the plea filed against the Accountability Court’s verdict in Al Azizia and Flagship Investment Reference Case by the former premier Nawaz Sharif.
A two-member bench of the IHC which include Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kyani will hear on the former premier’s plea.
On the other hand, the former premier has submitted an application seeking immunity from appearance due to his illness.
The court has accepted the plea of the former premier seeking immunity from making an appearance before the court.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo was sentenced to seven years in prison by an accountability court in Al-Azizia reference case.
