KARACHI: In Korangi family attacked the Polio vaccination team and refused administering the polio drops to their children.
According to the police, the anti-polio campaign was going on in Korangi today, where the the polio workers went to the family’s house to administer polio drops.
One family located in the area forbade the children to give polio drops and attacked the team, the family attacked the polio team with shovels and took away their mobile phones.
Police apprised that as the incident was reported, Police reached at the spot and arrested six people including 4 women.
As per police, the arrested suspects include Samina, Mah Jabeen, Amna, Iqra, Imran and Sufyan.
The police apprised that the polio workers and officials who were slightly injured in the attack have been shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.
