RAWALPINDI: DG ISPR Director General Lieutenant Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry a has stated that, India has launched missiles at three Pakistani airbases, and Pakistan Air Force’s assets remain secure.
In a late-night press briefing, DG ISPR reported that India targeted Noor Khan Airbase, Mianwali Base, and Shorkot using aircraft. India also launched surface-to-air missiles.
He explained that, some Indian missiles fell on airbases but caused no damage, and most were intercepted and destroyed in the air. All assets of the Pakistan Air Force are safe.
According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army, the Air Defense System successfully thwarted India’s missile attacks. Pakistan Air Force possesses electronic evidence indicating the origin of the missiles. Pakistan is awaiting India’s response.
DG ISPR also mentioned that, India has launched missiles into Afghanistan, indicating that India is deliberately escalating tensions across the region through deceptive tactics.
He added that, the missiles and drones launched into Afghanistan were preceded by missile strikes in Punjab, suggesting a broader plan to destabilize the region and push it toward conflict.
