WEB DESK: In a tragic incident, two Indian Air Force aircraft crashed on the same day, one of which was a fighter jet.
According to the Indian Air Force, a Jaguar fighter jet took off from Ambala Air Base for a training exercise and crashed shortly afterward near Haryana. The Air Force stated that the pilot safely ejected from the aircraft after steering it away from populated areas.
The Indian Air Force reported that the crash was caused by a technical malfunction, and the pilot was transferred to the hospital for medical treatment. An inquiry has been ordered into the incident.
The second incident occurred in West Bengal, where an Indian Air Force AN-32 transport aircraft crashed.
