KARACHI: Board of Intermediate Education has postponed the intermediate examinations that were scheduled to begin on April 28.
According to a statement issued by the board, the intermediate exams will now start on May 5.
The announcement stated that the change in the exam dates was made for two reasons. One reason is the ongoing process of granting grace marks to students in the first part of the intermediate exams for the 2024 academic year, based on the recommendations of a special committee, concerning the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for all students in the Science, Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, and General Science groups.
The second reason mentioned by the educational board is the continuation of the ongoing matriculation exams at some centers for both matriculation and intermediate levels.
The statement further requested students and parents to continue their preparations according to the new schedule.
