International community should take notice of Indian behaviour: FO spokesperson

Spokesperson of Foreign Office said that Indian supersonic missile testing has started an arms race in the region, International community should take notice over that Pakistan-US relations should not be seen in the context of the F-16 aircrafts.

During weekly briefing in Islamabad, spokesperson of Foreign Office Mohammed Nafees Zakaria said that Indian supersonic missile testing has started an arms race in the region and balance of power has been affected, as Indian missile testing matter was raised during negotiation with United States while  US has praised Pakistan’s efforts regarding arms reduction and nuclear security.

The spokesperson said that India is trying to save several criminals of Samjhauta Express including Col. Purohit while International community should take notice of Indian behavior.

He said in response to a question that neither date of arrival of Indian Foreign Secretary to Pakistan was fixed nor he has knowledge of arrival of Indian Investgative team to Pakistan.

However, he further added that Pakistan-US relations should not be seen in the context of the F-16 aircrafts as it is a commercial nature matter which would be settled soon.

While talking on the issue of FO Director Shafqat Cheema was arrested by NAB, he said that Foreign Office would support NAB in investigation.
