ISLAMABAD: During a recent meeting, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, paid a courtesy visit to Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, where discussions focused on current regional developments and peace initiatives.
The Iranian leader commended Pakistan for its proactive and responsible approach toward fostering dialogue, reducing tensions, and promoting stability across the region. He highlighted Pakistan’s consistent efforts to facilitate peaceful resolutions to disputes and to build mutual understanding among neighboring countries amid complex geopolitical challenges.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong dedication to regional peace and stability, emphasizing the country’s commitment to collaborative efforts.
Both leaders reiterated their intention to deepen Pakistan-Iran relations and agreed to maintain ongoing dialogue on issues of mutual significance. Their shared goal remains to promote peace, economic growth, and security throughout the region.
