LAHORE: Due to recent rains in the country, water levels are improving, and IRSA has increased the water supply for Punjab and Sindh.
According to an IRSA spokesperson, the water supply to Punjab has been increased by 23,800 cusecs, raising it to 64,800 cusecs. The water supply to Sindh has been increased by 10,000 cusecs, bringing it to 45,000 cusecs.
The spokesperson further stated that water supply to Balochistan is at 500 cusecs, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) is receiving 1,900 cusecs. The estimated shortfall for the Kharif season has decreased from 43% to 27%.
