WEB DESK: The Israeli military has claimed to have rendered the international airport in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa completely inoperative following airstrikes, the Israeli forces also struck a cement factory and two power plants in the city.
The Israeli military alleges that the Houthi forces were using Sanaa airport for the transportation of weapons, while the cement factory was being used for the construction of underground tunnels and military infrastructure.
Earlier, the Israeli military had issued a warning calling for the immediate evacuation of Sanaa International Airport.
A map of Sanaa was also shared by the Israeli military spokesperson on social media platform X, with the airport marked in red.
