Gaza: Israeli forces continued on Sunday bombing camps for displaced people, a day after killing at least 54 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to intensify the war on Gaza after Hamas rejected an Israeli proposal for a temporary truce.
The Palestinian group demanded a deal to end the war in exchange for the release of remaining captives.
Meanwhile, Hamas says the fate of Israeli-American captive Edan Alexander is not known after its fighters recovered the body of the guard holding him.

The Gaza Government Media Office updated its death toll to more than 61,700, saying thousands of people missing under the rubble are presumed dead.
