Islamabad: The judicial commission first meeting after the 26th constitutional amendment and reshaping of judicial commission will be held today.
Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice Yahya Afridi will chair the meeting at 2:30 pm in afternoon.
According to the agenda, the meeting will discuss establishment of secretariat of the judicial commission.
Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Ameen Uddin will attend the meeting.
Besides that Federal Minister for Law and human rights Azam Nazeer Tarrar, attorney general Mansoor Usman Awan, representative of bar council Akhtar Hussain will participate in the huddle.
Moreover Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Farooq H Nayik, Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML-N) Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, opposition leader in the National Assembly Umar Ayub, Shibli Faraz and woman MNA Roshan Khursheed will also attend the meeting.
