ISLAMABAD: Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed on Tuesday took oath as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan at the Supreme Court.
In the oath-taking ceremony held in Islamabad, Justice Umar Atta Bandial administered the oath to Justice Azmat Saeed with other senior judges, civil and military leadership in attendance.
Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and Justice Gulzar Ahmed have embarked for Russia on an official visit to attend 10th International judicial conference to represent Pakistan.
The conference will be held from July 31 to August 03 in Moscow.
CJP is visiting the Russian federal capital over the invitation of Federal Bailiffs Service.
