KARACHI: Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) arrested 9 Lyari gangwar runners of Uzair Baloch group from Sangolane, Sarbazi Mohalla, and adjoining areas of Lyari. Many other suspects during search operation in Mnaghopir and New Karachi areas of the city while four suspects were also arrested from Nazimabad area.
Zahid Baloch, Farid Baloch, Rizwan Chota, Shera Chota, and Sapira Blu are among the nine gangwar runners arrested.
Meanwhile, police arrested over three dozen suspects from Kunwari Colony and adjoining areas of Manghopir during search operation. Six suspects were also arrested from New Karachi Industrial area.
Police arrested four suspects from Nazimabad area after encounter. According to police the arrested suspects were involved in various street crimes and arms and stolen goods were recovered from their possession.
Cases have been arrested against the arrested suspects and investigations are underway.
