KARACHI: Police sprung into action after hours long traffic mess on the busiest thoroughfare of the city due to protest by PTI leader Faisal Vawda and his supporters and arrested Vawda by removing his supporters from Shara-e-Faisal.
The traffic mess, which ensued the PTI leader’s protest at Star Gate on Shara-e-Faisal, was eased after several hours when police removed the protesters. Police used tear gas shell and baton to disperse the protesters. PTI leader Faisal Vawda, who was leading the protest, was arrested and was shifted to Airport police station.
