The sugar prices have been increased by Rs 5 per kilogram in wholesale and retail markets in last three to four days.
According to wholesale grocers association after the Ramazan the prices of sugar could not establish and upward trend continued with the increase of Rs 5 that further put the burden on masses’ shoulders.
After increase of Rs 5 per kg the per kg sugar being sold at Rs 70 per kg as chairman wholesalers association said that the current addition in sugar price came after the arrival of new crop of sugar cane in the market and it was not unusual.
