ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Khursheed Shah has sent name list for Election Commission members appointment to Secretary Assembly, while the Speaker will call for Parliamentary Committee meeting after receiving names for nomination of Election Commission members by the Government.
According to sources, Opposition leader has sent 12 names to Secretary Assembly for appointment of four Election Commission members. Speaker will call for Parliamentary Committee meeting followed by receiving proposed names list of EC members by the government. According to sources, the meeting will be held on Monday, while notification is likely to be released at any time today.
