PESHAWAR: The KP government has introduced significant reforms to streamline domicile issuance by linking it with the Dastak mobile app and NADRA’s CRVS system. This move aims to boost efficiency, transparency, and citizen convenience through a revamped process.
Under the new protocol, domicile certificates verified via NADRA will be issued within a day. Applications with unchanged addresses for up to three years will also benefit from expedited processing. Address change cases from one to three years will be verified in three days, while recent changes will be reviewed by district committees within ten days.
The integrated software will connect directly with Dastak and NADRA CRVS, facilitating faster verification. Citizens can also complete biometric checks via the NADRA Pak ID app or E-Sahulat centres.
Officials emphasized that these reforms are designed to minimize delays, improve transparency, and enhance service delivery for residents.
