KARACHI: In a pivotal meeting today at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) office near Civic Centre, Kashif Siddiqui, Communication and Advocacy Specialist for the Katchi Abadis project under the Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP), met with Faraz Shaikh, Senior Director of Katchi Abadis at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).
The discussion centered on forging a collaborative effort to enhance living conditions in the city’s informal settlements. “By joining forces, KWSSIP and KMC can create a significant impact, driving positive change for underprivileged communities in Katchi Abadis,” Siddiqui remarked.
The two officials explored strategies to improve infrastructure and essential services within these areas. “We are eager to identify actionable solutions that will benefit the residents of Katchi Abadis,” Shaikh noted.
Siddiqui also shared the latest KWSSIP project newsletter with Shaikh, showcasing recent achievements and community engagement initiatives aimed at supporting informal settlement residents.
