LAHORE: A trader in the capital city of Punjab Lahore received a set of chits of extortion along with a threat of consequences if not paid.
According to details a private hotel owner in Gulberg, Lahore received seven chits demanding extortion and threats of dire consequences if not fulfilled the demands.
The hotel owner has registered an FIR over receiving the extortions chits in Ghalib Market police station in which he viewed that the criminals not only have sent the chits and but also sent e-mails demanding extortions.
The hotel management said that the extortionists have also given threats of dire consequences while the trader in the police complaint insisted action against the extortionists and security to the hotel staff.
