FAISALABAD: Lawyers tortured two reporters and a cameraman of private TV channel here on Tuesday.
In a fresh act of aggression by the lawyers, two reporters and a cameraman of private TV channel were tortured. The tortured reporter and cameraman were identified as Ali Raza, Muhammad Tayyab and Waqas Memon respectively.
Later on, the lawyers locked the media workers inside the barroom who were recovered by the police after a while. The lawyers tortured the reporters as they exposed the corruption of a police clerk while he was taking a bribe.
On the other hand, the talks between the local media workers and lawyers have been failed and the reporters are considering taking legal action against the involved lawyers.
