KARACHI: Police say a man was found dead with a gunshot wound inside a car at Sea View. He was seated in the driver’s seat and wearing shalwar kameez. Investigators found a mobile phone on the passenger seat but no pistol in the vehicle.
The car was registered to Abdul Hussain of Clifton’s Shah Rasool Colony, police said. The victim was initially unidentified, but was later named as Hasan. Preliminary information suggests he lived in Nazimabad and worked in the property business. His body was taken to Jinnah Hospital.
An SSP said the circumstances appeared to indicate murder. Police are investigating.
In other recent incidents, a man’s body was found in a flat in Abbas Town, with rescue officials reporting signs of severe torture. Police also recovered a body near Siemens Roundabout in the SITE Area; its cause of death was not immediately known.
