LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed officials to complete all outstanding work on the Chief Minister’s e-Bikes Scheme as soon as possible.
In a statement, the chief minister said the initiative was intended to make daily travel easier for students and help lower their commuting costs. She particularly highlighted the potential benefits for female students, for whom reliable and affordable transport can be an important factor in reaching educational institutions.
Maryam Nawaz said the scheme would provide students with a more convenient travel option and help ease the burden of monthly expenses. She instructed the relevant departments to address pending tasks without delay so the programme could move forward.
The statement did not provide a revised completion date or further details about the remaining work.
