Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has constituted a 10-member committee to provide policy guidelines for improving governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa following the imposition of governor’s rule in the province, sources said.
The committee includes Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Amir Muqam, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
Representatives of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) will also be part of the committee.
According to sources, the committee will formulate policy guidelines aimed at improving governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The committee held its first meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
Sources said the meeting reviewed measures taken following the imposition of governor’s rule in the province.
