KARACHI: Gold prices surged across Pakistan on Monday, with the price of per tola gold increasing by Rs4,000 amid a rise in international bullion markets.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold climbed to Rs477,762 after the latest increase.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs3,943, reaching Rs409,603 in the local market.
In the international market, gold prices also witnessed a significant increase, gaining $46 to settle at $4,554 per ounce
