Head Coach Mickey Arthur, during consultation betweenNational Selection Committee Chairman Inzimam-ul-Haq and Head Coach Mickey Arthur, has demanded to add all-rounders in ODI squad for series against West Indies.
According to sources, Chief Selector Inzimam-ul-Haq contacted National Cricket team Head Coach Mickey Arthur and consulted over forming ODI squad against West Indies. Sources said that there are a large number of changes likely in national team top order against West Indies, while there were differences in selection committee and Board over matter of Former Captain Salman Butt return.
Meanwhile, Middle Order Batsman Umar Akmal’s return is likely in ODI Squad, while there are also considerations to add Khalid Lateef as opener in ODI Squad. Sources claimed that final ODI squad will be announced in a couple of days.
