MQM demands army chief to take notice of Rangers unlawful steps

The MQM coordination committee rejecting Rangers’ statement, in which Rangers called a party leaders statements are damaging city’s peace, appealed to Army Chief General Raheel Sharif to take action over Rangers actions against MQM as banned outfits collecting funds but MQM was bared forcibly.

Addressing to a press conference MQM parliamentary leader in NA said that MQM was the biggest political party of the mega city but it was being halted from welfare activities by force and apprehending its workers.

“We have no personnel enmity with anyone but our fair complains will be heard and avoid to side line MQM as these steps are compelling the workers to lose their temper, ” he added that military leadership should recover more than 130 MQM workers who were missing since Karachi operation inception.

He accused Rangers were blaming MQM to just hide their incompetency as the arrested workers were being released after dealing with them , therefore MQM demanded the army chief and corps commander to stop Rangers from unlawful activities.

He further blamed that after passage of several weeks there was no development over the killing of Aftab Ahmed, who was killed during Rangers detention.
