Karachi: The Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) senior leader Dr Farooq Sattar on Monday demanded accountability of Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and Home Minister Zia Langu over deaths of 150 citizens of Karachi by dumpers, tankers and trollers.
Holding a presser at the the party headquarter in Bahadurabad, Dr Farooq Sattar criticised Murad Ali Shah and Zia Langu over not issuing any single statement on the killings of 150 citizens of Karachi in the hands of dumpers, tankers and trollers.
Dr Sattar said that as many as 150 innocent citizens of Karachi were killed in road accidents hit by dumpers, tankers and trollers since January till date.
It is said that by the Sindh government circles that plots and compensations can’t be substitute for lost lives, he questioned the PPP government, how many dumpers, tankers and trollers drivers were arrested and how many cases were registered against them. .
On the other hand, Dr Farooq Sattar also demanded an impeachment of President Asif Zardari over doing the politics on the canal issue.
Criticising the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) polarized approach on the canal issue, said Asif Zardari has his face towards Rawalpindi, on the other hand, Bilawal towards the nationalist parties while Karachi Mayor has his face towards Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori.
Lamenting on the PPP, the member of the party Central Organising Committee (COC), Sattar asked the PPP to tell why did the K-1V project not complete yet?
Sattar, who also remained a mayor, said that they (PPP) were taking the MQM-P virtue light .He alleged that the ruling PPP seems agents of mafias instead of people.
He also urged the Mayor Karachi to stop misleading people on social and do your work.
He said the real question is that mayor post has been occupied for two years.
For Jamat-e-Islami (JI), he said that Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman were busy in staging sit-in instead of getting rights for people.
He said that the PPP has been ruling the province for 16 years but its performance was zero adding that the Sindh government has nothing to show for its performance.
The MQM-P senior politician said that the PPP were not conducting China cutting not but they were involved in Russian and American cuttings in Karachi and the province.
