Multiple airports in Pakistan will be unavailable until 6 PM this evening.

WEB DESK: Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has announced that, Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Sialkot airports will be non-operational due to operational reasons until 6 PM today.

According to a spokesperson from Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), airspace over the headquarters of Pakistan Airports Authority, Jinnah International Airport Terminal 1, and the Old Terminal in Karachi will also remain closed until 6 PM this evening.

On the other hand, sources at the airports have stated that flight operations at Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan, and Quetta airports are ongoing. Additionally, three international flights have landed at Quetta Airport.

Sources also mentioned that, three flights from Dubai and Toronto to Lahore have been diverted to Multan Airport, while two flights from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Islamabad operated by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have been diverted to Muscat.

Pakistan Airports Authority has requested travelers to stay in touch with their respective airlines regarding their flights.
