National Accountability Bureau has approved the filing of corruption references against former Raja Pervez Ashraf and former Sindh information minister Sharjeel Memon.
The executive board of NAB met here with Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhary in the chair. The Board approved the inquiries over corruption complaints including former PM Raja Ashraf against his alleged involvement in corruption in rental power projects and former provincial minister Sharjeel Memon’s large scale corruption in government’s advertisements.
According to NAB sources, besides Memon the co-accused will also be taken to the task.
