Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday, today, chaired the 5th meeting of Board of Governors of NACTA, in Islamabad.
The meeting has approved the establishment of National Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center (NIFTAC).
Speaking on the occasion, the Interior Minister said the establishment of this center came after consultations with relevant departments to fully combat terrorism.
The Interior Minister said this center will also be established in all the provincial capitals and it will be a significant step toward achieving NACTA’s core objectives.
Additionally, it will ensure the full implementation of the National Action Plan.
In his remarks, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said NIFTAC will play a key role in enhancing the operational capacity of NACTA.
