Islamabad: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NPRA) has approved an uptick of Rs 9.90 per unit in electricity rates under the fuel adjustment charges for the month of June this year.
As per the notification issued in this regard, CPPAG has requested an increase of Rs 9. 90 per unit in the electricity charges.
Before this FCA of the month of May was charged Rs 7. 91, which was for a month.
As per the NEPRA, the FCA of June will be charged more than Rs 1.99 as compare to month of May for month of August. This will only applicable to the month of August.
According to the NEPRA, it will be applicable on all the DISOS except life-lines.
