ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regularity Authority (NEPRA) has cut the power prices for the month of June as a monthly fuel adjustment.
Rejecting the request for soar in prices, NEPRA has rather slashed the power tariffs by 9 paisa per unit.
In its decision, NEPRA said that the slash in power price has been taken in account of fuel adjustment that will provide the relief of Rs 100 million rupees to the consumers.
The NEPRA decision will not be applicable to the domestic consumers and those who used less than 300 unit of electricity.
