Islamabad (September 04, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) nominee for Punjab governor post Chaudhry Sarwar on Tuesday has resigned from senatorship.
Talking to media, Chaudhry Sarwar assured to take steps for medical treatment, education and employment of poverty-stricken people.PTI candidate will formally take oath as Punjab governor on September 5.
Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar is a senator and former British Member of Parliament who served as Governor of Punjab, from 2 August 2013 until his resignation on 29 January 2015.
On 3 March 2018, he was elected as a Senator from Punjab.
