Pyongyang, Seoul (September 06, 2018): North and South Korea both have agreed to hold a summit in Pyongyang on September 18.
Both countries will discuss practical measures toward the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
Yesterday, a South Korean presidential delegation has met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang and has conveyed a personal letter from South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
Kim had called for further efforts to realize the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula during meetings with the envoys.
Kim also reportedly expressed frustration with outside skepticism about his nuclear disarmament intentions and demanded that his goodwill measures be met in kind.
Earlier, historical meeting of North and South Korea held in April this year, when North Korean President reached South Korea.
North and South Korea agreed to work to rid the peninsula of nuclear weapons after holding a historic summit in Panmunjom.
