No Decision For Return To Pakistan Yet: Maryam Nawaz

Web Desk (June 22, 2018): Daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz on Friday has said that they have not not decided yet for the return to Pakistan.

Maryam Nawaz reached Harley’s clinic to see her mother, Kulsoom Nawaz, who is on the ventilator from June 14.

Maryam Nawaz further added that doctors will decide about when to remove ventilator, we have not decided yet for the return to Pakistan.  Earlier on, former Chief Minister of Punjab and President of PML-N, Shahbaz Sharif has returned back  from London after visiting ailing sister-in-law, Kulsoom Nawaz.

Shahbaz Sharif was in London to visit Kulsoom Nawaz, whose condition is critical and admitted in Harley’s clinic after cardiac arrest.

Shahbaz Sharif landed Lahore by PIA’s Flight, PK-758 from London.Earlier on June 16, Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday departed for London to visit his ailing sister-in-law Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.

My Mother Is In Critical Condition: Maryam Nawaz

The condition of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former premier Nawaz Sharif, remained critical on Thursday, her daughter said.

While talking to journalists outside the hospital, Maryam Nawaz requested the nation for prayers for her ailing mother.Earlier in the day, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and other PML-N leaders including Khawaja Asif, Nuzhat Sadiq and Nehal Hashmi also visited Begum Kulsum.

Two days back, sources quoted doctors treating Begum Kulsoom as saying that her vital organs were functioning normally and she even opened her eyes once after being put on life support.Sources said the doctors informed Nawaz, Maryam and Shehbaz Sharif that Begum Kulsoom’s condition had not deteriorated but had not improved significantly either.

The ex-prime minister’s wife was admitted to the hospital on June 14 after suffering a cardiac arrest and has been on life support since.

COAS Sends Flower Bouquet To Ailing Kulsoom Nawaz: 

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa sent a flower bouquet to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s ailing wife Begum Kulsoom in hospital on Wednesday, wishing her early recovery.

Expressing his sympathy for the former first lady, Army Chief sent best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif.Kulsoom Nawaz was shifted to the intensive care unit of the London hospital after her health deteriorated on June 14.Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter, Maryam Nawaz are also in  London as they were allowed by the court to visit the former first lady and then given four-day exemption.
