Overseas Pakistanis in UAE can now access Punjab land records at diplomatic missions

DUBAI: Pakistan has introduced a new facility at its diplomatic missions in the United Arab Emirates enabling overseas Pakistanis to obtain Punjab land ownership records without travelling to Pakistan.

The service was launched by the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai in collaboration with the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), according to an official statement.

Under the new arrangement, Pakistani citizens residing in the UAE can obtain Fards, official documents containing details of land ownership and property records in Punjab, from the diplomatic missions.

The initiative is designed to make property-related government services more accessible to overseas Pakistanis while reducing the time, cost and inconvenience associated with travelling to Pakistan for land documentation.

The embassy said the facility is part of broader government efforts to expand digital and citizen-friendly services for Pakistanis living abroad.

Citizens seeking information about the service have been advised to contact the missions through their 24-hour helplines or visit the embassy and consulate during official working hours.
