LONDON: Pakistan Air Force aircraft earned international acclaim at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025, one of the most prestigious air shows in the world, held in the United Kingdom.
The PAF’s C-130 transport aircraft took top honors, winning the coveted Concours d’Elegance Trophy for its exceptional presentation and performance. Meanwhile, the advanced JF-17C Block III fighter jet secured the “Spirit of the Meet” award, highlighting its standout presence at the event.
The JF-17C Block III, a symbol of Pakistan’s growing aerospace capabilities, made the long journey from Pakistan to the UK with continuous air-to-air refueling — a demonstration of both endurance and modern aerial refueling capability. The aircraft has previously gained attention for its role during the operation Marka-e-Haq.
These accolades recognize not only the aircraft’s impressive technical features and flight performance but also the high standards of professionalism exhibited by the Pakistan Air Force.
Winning such prestigious awards on a global platform is a testament to Pakistan’s advancements in aviation technology and the operational excellence of the PAF. The recognition at RIAT 2025 has brought pride to the country’s defense and aviation sectors.
