WEB DESK: Strong earthquake tremors were felt in the Pak-Afghan border areas on Wednesday morning, causing fear and panic among residents.
The shaking prompted locals in Zhob and surrounding areas to flee their homes and buildings in haste.
According to the National Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale and struck at a depth of 65 kilometers, with its epicenter located in the Hindukush mountainous region of Afghanistan.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage. However, the unexpected tremor left many residents anxious about potential aftershocks.
