KARACHI: The Pakistan Navy has officially launched the extensive maritime exercise SEASPARK-2026 in Karachi, marking a significant step in enhancing its maritime defense capabilities. The exercise was inaugurated with an opening briefing led by the Naval Chief, who was accompanied by senior officers from Pakistan’s Armed Forces.
SEASPARK-2026 aims to rigorously evaluate the Navy’s operational preparedness against both traditional and modern maritime challenges. The drills involve a wide range of assets including surface ships, submarines, aircraft, unmanned systems, Marine units, and special forces, as well as coordinated efforts with the Army and Air Force.
Earlier, the Chief of Naval Staff visited various PN Fleet units to review ongoing operations and assess readiness levels. In his address to naval personnel, he emphasized the importance of maintaining high alertness and strengthening joint service integration to meet the evolving security landscape.
The primary focus of SEASPARK-2026 is to simulate multi-domain operations that combine maritime, aerial, land, cyber, and space-based capabilities. The exercise also emphasizes operations within the information environment, aiming to achieve dominance in both kinetic and non-kinetic battlespaces, ensuring Pakistan Navy remains prepared for complex modern conflicts.
