Islamabad (June 21, 2017): The meeting of the joint investigation team probing Sharif family’s offshore holdings will be held at Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) in Islamabad today after a one day Eid holiday.
The meeting will be presided over by Wajid Zia, head of the team and additional director general of Federal Investigation Agency.

All the six members of the JIT are expected to participating in the meeting.
Sources said that the JIT will review the statements recorded by different people before it. On June 23, former Interior Minister Rehman Malik appeared before the JIT and recorded his statement whole the next day prime minister’s son-in-law Captain (Retd) Safdar appeared before the team.
It is to be mentioned here that the JIT has summoned Prime Minister’s cousin Tariq Shafi on July 2, 2017 for the second time. After first appearance before the committee last month, Shafi had accused the JIT members of exerting pressure on him and threatening him.
