ISLAMABAD: Opposition has announced to present bill in National Assembly for Panama Leaks investigation in the name of Panama Papers Inquiry Act, while motions regarding Panama papers will be passed from Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assemblies.
Joint Opposition session was held today to finalize joint strategy over ToRs regarding Panama Leaks, which was attended by PPP, PTI, MQM, ANP including 11 parties of Opposition, but the meeting could not agree over ToRs related to Panama papers.
Meanwhile, during media briefing after meeting, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that government did not responded opposition with good faith, adding that opposition will bring joint bill in Parliament over ToRs matter. On the other hand, PPP Senator Aitzaz Ahsan said that if government did not let approve the bill, then joint opposition will have no choice except to approach the public.
