The much awaited name of national cricket team head coach likely to announce on May 3 after the approval of board of governors and names of vice head coach, bowling, and batting coach will be announced soon after.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has received nine applications, including 7 foreigner, for the post, which was fell vacant after the resignation of former head coach Waqar Younas. Muhammad Akram, Manzoor Elahi, Dean Jones, Tom Moody, Jimmy Sid, Ann Pont, Petter Morras and Andy Flower are the intending candidates for the slot of head coach.
According to sources the committee, comprising Waseem Akram and Rameez Raja, will file the enlisted candidates name to PCB Chairman, however if in failure of finding appropriate candidates, Aqbi Javed and Mohsan Hassan Khan will also be considered for the slot.
