ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced the possible players for the first away match of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers against Syria.
The possible goalkeepers include Yusuf Butt, Saqib Hanif, Abdul Basit, and Adam Khan. The defenders include Abdullah Iqbal, Isa Suleman, Hasib Khan, and Junaid Shah.
Other defenders in the list are Mamoon Musa, Mohammad Fazal, Abdul Rahman, and Waqar Ihtesham, while midfielders include Alamgir Ghazi, Ali Aziz, Ali Zafar, and Mohammad Umar Hayat.
Midfielders Rahas Nabi, Tauqeer-ul-Hassan, Umair Ali, and Moin Ahmad are also part of the possible squad, along with Abdul Samad, Shaikh Dost, and Mohammad Adeil Younis.
According to PFF, the forwards in the possible squad are Fareed Allah, Haroon Hamid, Imran Kiyani, and Mikaal Abdullah.
The qualifier match will be played on March 25 in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.
