KARACHI: The Hajj Pilgrims return to the country started as the first flight of PIA landed Karachi boarding with 200 pilgrims.
The PIA officials welcomed the Hajj pilgrims on Karachi airport while they were also presented with a wreath of a flower while another national carrier flight reached country’s capital Islamabad carrying 160 pilgrims which were received by the PIA high-ups.
Another flight of the PIA reached Faisalabad boarding with 140 hajj pilgrims.
According to the PIA, a spokesman informed that the national carrier will run as many as 290 special and scheduled flights as a post-Hajj operation.
The PIA will bring 82,000 passengers to the country from Saudi Arabia belonging to Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Sialkot, Multan, Quetta and Faisalabad.
